The EU-EAC MARKUP Programme began supporting Med Foods Arusha in 2019. MARKUP, through the International Trade Centre (ITC), improved the capacity of the company for accessing finance, developing export strategies and improving quality. The project is funded by the European Union.

Results and impacts of EAC-EU MARKUP 2018 - 2023

Since 2018, MARKUP has been working with farmer groups, SME’s, business support organisations and policy makers to improve access to market information, identify and remove barriers to trade, strengthen compliance to standards, enhance competitiveness and link exporters to buyers in the EAC region and the EU.
